How Beyond the Pattern handles your information
Beyond the Pattern collects only the information needed to provide the newsletter, podcast early access, and requested assessment features.
What information is collected?
Newsletter signups may include a first name and email address. Podcast early-access signups include an email address. The free self-assessment keeps your in-progress answers in your browser while you work. When you complete it, your top patterns and score results are recorded without your email address; that record stays separate from all marketing lists. If you ask to email your results, your email is used for that one-time request.
How is information used?
Newsletter subscribers receive writing, episodes, and releases. Podcast subscribers receive launch-related updates. Anonymous assessment results help us understand how visitors are using the reflection tool. Assessment results email requests are not added to the newsletter. Information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Where is it stored?
Signup records and anonymous assessment-result records are stored in the project’s connected records system. Confirmation or requested results emails are delivered through the project’s email provider. Browser-only assessment progress is stored locally on your device so you can continue where you left off.
